WANG FU

A couple of weeks ago I bought tickets for my sister and I to go see Wong fu! WOOO! I was actually quite excited because this was their first time coming down to Melbourne and it COULD be their last so I had to go. It was held in Storey Hall at RMIT. For those who don't know who they are...they're producers, they make videos of all types of genres ranging from romance to action to comedy. Check them out here. Wong fu productions is a three man team but unfortunately Ted Fu couldn't make it due to personal reasons which is a shame cos it wasn't the same without him. The show was suppose to start at 6:30pm according to the ticket but it actually started an hour later. My sister and I arrived at around 5:20ish and there was already a line plus it was raining as well. We got into the hall at around 6:50ish. The event was very poorly organised, once we got into the hall people just pushed their way to the front of the door leading to the room where we were suppose to be seated. Therefor the people who lined up first outside in the rain was pushed back. Anyway, once we got in VIPs had priority seating and everyone else sat like 7ish rows of chairs after them. I was at a decent place, the hall wasn't really big anyways. The show lasted for about 1.5 hours, it was very inspirational. Wes and Phil were entertaining, they interacted a lot with the audience as well. Throughout the show they played some videos that they have produced so far (Kung Fooled, Shell and Wang Lee Hom's MV) and new ones as well that haven't been uploaded. I had fun but felt like it was kinda rushed. If they do come back I'll definitely go again. After the show, I walked my sister to Flinders and waited for her train as she was going home and I was going to stay out for a friend's sister's birthday. She had her birthday at a bar/club called "Randy Dragon" on Flinders Lane. The interior was nice but it was also quite small. They had cheap drinks as well, 2 for $15 cocktails and shots for $5 after midnight. The one thing that kinda annoyed me about that place is their repetitive music. I swear I heard J-lo's get right like five times! Stayed there til 3am and caught a taxi home with Chris and Tina. Image and video hosting by TinyPic

BRIGHT AND EARLY.

I am not a morning person whatsoever but as a favour to a friend today, I woke up early to accompany him to Yarraville to fix his broken Mac lol I am such a great friend. Didn't take long at the Apple certified store, so we then went to have brunch. I've never been to Yarraville but it's actually quite nice. There are cafes everywhere and they even have lawn chairs on a grass strip for people to enjoy over coffee and soak in some sun whilst it lasts. Since we were both quite indecisive it took awhile for us to settle on a cafe, I don't actually recall what it was called though. I ordered a caramel latte which wasn't that great and an omelette with sourdough bread, Jackson ordered a beef burger. All in all it was a DECENT meal. After brunch, we both needed retail therapy so we took off to "clear it" on brunswick st which is like an outlet then after that to Brunswick Savers. Haven't been to the Brunswick Savers in a long time and now I remember why, couldn't find much and it was crowded I think I prefer the Footscray one. Later that evening we decided on Taco and custard tart night. The Tacos didn't take long to prepare but mannnn the custard tarts had such a tedious process. It wasn't our BEST job but I was pretty satisfied, though I need to keep in mind to make the dough a little thinner next time. A couple of Youtube videos and a game of maplestory later we called it a night.

A FRESH START

Just deleted my old blogger, felt like I needed a fresh start. Going to TRY and I mean really try to start blogging on a regular basis. My English has been really bad lately, people are blaming my "K-pop addiction" which is merely just a  hobby, so I need to start writing more to get my grammar skills back on track! Well, what's been happening? Summer holidays have officially ended and some major highlights were going to Sydney for the DAEBAK (awesome in Korean...still...just..a..phase..lol) K-POP CONCERT!, Great Ocean Road/Lorne road trip with some of my best mates, Christmas casual work at The Body Shop, random bake nights, My 20th birthday at Love Machine. Now the reality hits, my last year in Uni studying Pharmaceutical Science, yes I "create" drugs not sell them. I am still not in the studying mode yet, thus from the 5 day week of Uni I only attended 3, not because I was lazy it's the weather and distant combined.
On a completely different note, I have just finished reading The hunger games. It was just WOW, one of the best reads. It's got a little bit of action and romance just what I'm into and highly recommend as well. It is part one of the trilogy so I'm thinking I should buy the other two books as well. The movie also comes out soon, hopefully it does the book justice though I highly doubt it, nevertheless still looking forward to it.
Anyway, this blog template seems a little plain might spice it up a bit when I decide on what theme I would like to go for. I am actually really into decorating haha.
Well that is probably it for my first post...maybe I'll end it with some random photos (instagram: suiigeneris)!
